Ingeo Progetti has recently completed the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) within its operational processes. This adoption represents a fundamental step towards digitalization and optimization of business activities, according with global industry trends.

Already present for more than a decade on the international scene, in Italy, the adoption of BIM is becoming increasingly relevant. According to the 7th OICE Report on Digitization and BIM Tenders 2023, the percentage of tenders requesting BIM has reached 32.6% of the total procedures for the awarding of engineering and architecture services, compared to 13.7% in 2022. This increase highlights a growing focus on digitization in the construction sector.
Furthermore, from January 1, 2025, the adoption of BIM will become mandatory in public procurement, as provided by the Public Contracts Code D.lgs. 36/2023. This legislation represents a unique opportunity for companies in the sector to modernize their operations and become more sustainable.
