1. STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
The of Ingeo Progetti communication plan aims to increase the visibility of the company’s commitment to inclusion and gender equality by making known the value-added initiatives it wants to provide to its employees as well as its stakeholders.
The Ingeo Progetti communication project unfolds within a highly structured context of communication activities, involving various stakeholders: public and private entities, clients, industry associations, etc.
However, Ingeo Progetti intends to activate its own synergistic but simultaneously autonomous communication project compared to those of its stakeholders, disseminating its gender equality activities program in the territory and facilitating synergies with other working realities.
Ultimately, the goal is to act with an open innovation perspective, facilitating the dissemination of knowledge aimed at developing technological solutions that can involve the entire existing and potential supply chain.
2. TARGET AUDIENCE
The Ingeo Progetti communication project, through direct activities and those of connected stakeholders, aims to reach various subjects:
• Site personnel
• Office staff
• Technical/design staff
• Public and private entities
• Private and public clients
• Suppliers or subcontractors
• Industry associations
• Other transportation world subjects and stakeholders
3. COMMUNICATION STRATEGY
With reference to the communication strategy, actions will be taken on various elements, both enhancing some and creating new ones from scratch, in order to engage personnel in making known the policies on gender equality and inclusion.
The main initiatives, which will be described in more detail later, are: A. Promotion of the WEBSITE B. Creation of a new LINKEDIN/ FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM group to showcase various initiatives C. A. Website
Ingeo Progetti Srl has recently invested in a new website and new graphic content that can represent it according to the highest standards. To promote the website’s visibility, the following actions will be considered:
- SEO AND KEYWORDS ANALYSIS
- Activation of Google Analytics G4 to evaluate site access and performance
- Insertion of a COUNTER to track visits to different pages of the site
B. SOCIAL MEDIA GROUP
The project includes the creation of a new GROUP on LinkedIn (FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM). The management will be entrusted to an administrator who will oversee/validate both connection requests and published content; in addition, an appropriate headline, logo, and a bespoke banner image containing the key visual of the gender equality communication theme will be provided during the page creation phase. The publication target is weekly: articles, videos, events, etc., involving various network actors to increase followers through interactions with posts (likes, shares, comments). Periodic analytics will be reviewed to analyze, in particular: follower growth, visit trends, and post engagement.
C. NEWSLETTER
A Newsletter will be prepared with an indicative frequency of every two months, to be sent to employees and stakeholders and also posted on the website. The newsletter is an effective tool for conveying useful, interesting, and high-quality content. Consideration will be given to including articles/interviews with contributors on specific gender equality topics.
D. EVENTS – INTERVIEWS – THEMED MEETINGS
Events: Events will be organized (either in-person or remotely) to present gender equality topics, initiatives, updates, etc., with the goal of creating a culture of gender equality and inclusion.
Meetings/Interviews: Meetings and interviews will be conducted to assess the level of satisfaction and awareness of the new initiatives (a specific questionnaire for interviewers may also be useful, especially for silent participants).
Themed Meetings: Themed meetings will be organized to include only contributors to evaluate possible new project opportunities and to promote the culture of gender equality.
E. DOCUMENTATION FOR NEW STAFF/DRIVERS
Additional material will be provided to the staff (e.g., informative PowerPoint presentation, evaluation questionnaire, etc.).
F. LOCAL MEDIA
The possibility of disseminating knowledge through a couple of articles per year in specialized bus magazines (if compatible with the budget) and a roundtable on a regional television network to showcase regional gender equality initiatives will be evaluated.
4. COMMUNICATION TOOLS
The following outlines the operational communication tools, both online and offline, to be adopted in the communication plan with relative timings and frequencies. Table 1 specifies the main channels, while Table 2 focuses on mandatory regulations and system references.
TIMELINE
The communication plan aimed at disseminating information related to the project contents, both at the level of individual companies and as a group, will unfold over the years in question through the following communication activities:
Year 2024 and 2025:
- Publications related to gender equality projects on company websites and social media channels, to broadly share developments with the public;
- Meetings in the local area with relevant companies and entities;
- Organization of informational events or webinars open to the public;
Year 2026:
- Presentation of ongoing projects during trade fairs attended by the companies;
- Publications of projects on gender equality and their results in the press.
MONITORING AND COMMUNICATION PLAN EVALUATION
The Communication Plan Activity, which aims to ensure the achievement of strategic gender equality objectives and allows intervention in case of inconsistencies requiring corrective actions and improvements, will be carried out throughout the plan’s duration by the Gender Equality Management System Manager. This individual will also be responsible for preparing data collection tools, analyzing the data, and drafting the final evaluation report. Both physical and financial monitoring (collection, processing, and transmission of physical and economic data to the Gender Equality Steering Committee) and ongoing monitoring of the plan’s activities (feedback on resources used, effectiveness of methodologies and tools, appropriateness of content) will be conducted.
